Here are a couple of photos of another eucalyptus burl concertina with rosewood trim. It also has ebony handles with Eucalyptus capping. This will be sent on as soon as the owner returns from a trip to Australia.
I'm also announcing a few modifications to the standard Wheatstone layout. There will be two options with the Heritage models only. These options apply to the third row, right hand side.
Option One:

This option will give
the same reverse C# usually found with the Jeffries system, but maintaining the same organization and
feel on the first four buttons. The F# on button 5 is the same one as the first
button on the draw on the first row but in the opposite direction.
Option Two:

This option is very similar to the idea that some makers
use, inspired by a famous concertina player who visits North America each year
to hold classes. The pros to this system is that it places the reverse options
of C# and F# close to the first or second finger and may be a bit easier to access.
The con is that it puts the A and G one position over from where they are
usually located.
Either option is an improvement on the standard Wheatstone
layout, which I will be phasing out. If ordering a Wheatstone layout for your Heritage model, Please select one of these options, copy and paste on your order form or e-mail. These opions are not currently available on my hybrid models, but will be available soon. Please contact me at fedgley@cogeco.ca or phone before 10:00AM at 519-991-3100 or Home 519-948-9149.
